Sandwich Sheet/PUF Panels
Sandwich panels are high-performance composite panels consisting of two layers of high-strength metal panels and a thermal insulation core material in the middle. The metal panels are mostly made of galvanized steel or stainless steel, which have excellent impact resistance and corrosion resistance. The surface coating further enhances moisture resistance and chemical erosion resistance. Core materials such as polyurethane foam and polystyrene foam achieve high-efficiency thermal insulation with low thermal conductivity. This structure gives sandwich panels excellent thermal insulation, fire resistance, and sound insulation performance, while also having the advantages of being lightweight and easy to install.
Types of Sandwich Panels
Sandwich panels can be divided into EPS foam sandwich panels, rock wool sandwich panels, PIR sandwich panels and PU sandwich panels according to the material. EPS sandwich panels use polystyrene foam as the core material, which is light and cheap, and is often used in temporary buildings, but has weak fire resistance; rock wool sandwich panels use rock wool made of natural basalt, which has excellent fire resistance, sound insulation and thermal insulation properties, and is widely used in industrial plants with high fire safety requirements; PIR sandwich panels use polyisocyanurate as the core material, with outstanding thermal insulation performance and strong anti-aging ability, suitable for low-temperature environments such as cold storage; PU sandwich panels are polyurethane sandwich panels, which have both high strength and good thermal insulation, and are easy to construct, and are more common in commercial buildings and clean workshops.
